Education before investing but people do the opposite. Some do Well & others, not so much. Join a local REIA & / OR a Meetup Real estate group. Attend seminars , classes - Online Or local. Read books via Library Or Thrift Books. Consider taking Real estate Or Mortgage Loan Classes ( Not necessary to be licensed). If your handy buy a fixer upper & use sweat equity.
Good Luck

Hi, I attended a REIA mtg & the speaker talked about Syndication deals. She stated the contract for ? mgmt was all over the place. One contract stated that all members would receive $$$ before mgmt & in another contract, it was the exact opposite. Definitely read your contract & how the $$$ is shared with fellow investors.
I attended a Rich Dad event in Scottsdale, AZ & Ken McKelroy spoke. Ken stated on his syndication deals, all the investors got paid first, then his company would start sharing afterwards. This is the reason Ken had 500+ Accredited investors wanting to invest with him.

I apologize for delay in responding to you all. We want to rent out our the SFH. We are not tech savvy, but I'm thinking photos of Outside & Inside of home. Possibly progress to having a video in future.
Goal - Have web site with information about home to rent and not rely on Zillow . We'd have a more direct access to people interested in our 12 month lease plus we could maintain a list of future interested parties. Unsure of online application and payment of rent.
We are curious how others in our situation proceeded in starting a web site & maintaining it ?
Would you use a service like Elance for instance.
Thanks in advance, Mitch Stanley

I want to clarify re, your statement - "within a short period of time are treated as a single inquiry."
One has 30 days to make inquiries re. Loan product(s) from as many entities ( Mortgage Broker, Credit Union, Bank, ect) as one chooses.
Personally, I would talk to as many companies as possible, My wife & I did this in the 1990's & it was an EYE Opener in how we we treated!
Best Wishes for Success.

Hi, A co-worker ~ 2010 signed up for either Real estate Coaching Or Education. He paid ~ $5k for this ( I do not recall the number of weeks). He thought it was a good value for the study materials & online ( Or phone support ).
I'd definitively understand your agreement & would you be made whole Or refund a % of money if you were dissatisfied .
Also, I attended 5 events in Scottsdale , AZ to listen to him speak about different topics, I thought it was a great experience . Just so you know of my biases.
