As a lender, I have seen an increase of investors buying and building in this area.  I do not personally have properties in Cape Coral though.  Best of luck!

Hi Alberto! You don't have to be a first time home buyer to qualify for FHA loans. You just can only have one FHA loan at a time and they can only be for owner-occ (or house hacking) properties, not pure rentals. Your current properties shouldn't hold you back at all from getting your next FHA or conventional loan.

Congrats on your first property! I personally diversify my assets between, RE, equities, and crypto...but no specific split.

@Reid Chauvin and @Matthew Crivelli already left some great advice here.  I would add...Pay attention to their communication skills.  If they are slow to respond and communicate in the beginning then they will be slow during your entire process!

Yes, but you can always refinance to eliminate. If you have 20% to put down you may want to run the numbers on a conventional loan vs. an FHA loan and see which is better for your situation. Feel free to reach out if you want me to run numbers for you! -Kristen
