Hello @@Simon Wold - I invest in the Tucson market and would love to connect if you'd be interested. I have one property around the U right now and am in contract on another. I've talked to a seemingly endless list of brokers in that area and found one I really enjoy working with. His name is Dan Yribar with Prime Lending. (DM me if you need further assistance getting in touch with him). Great guy, wealth of knowledge and doesn't mind teaching me along the way!

@Mark F. Thank you so much for helping. At what point would you consider buying down to be a negative or "over doing it"? How do you know that point?
Great suggestion on having them offer comparisons at the same rate, will try that. Thank you for taking your time to help me, I really appreciate it!

Hello! I'm looking at my second income property in AZ and struggling with multiple brokers offering me multiple deals that vary slightly. Some deals the rates are lower (4.5%) but their origination fees are higher and some (4.875) but fees are lower. Does anyone know the best way to compare this? I've been told classic 'mortgage brokers' are a thing of the past. Also, on buy and hold investment property does buying down points make sense?

Hello! I've recently purchased a rental property with my husband in Tucson, AZ near the U of A and it's been going well so far. I found BP following this first purchase and now that I'm expanding my knowledge a bit more, I am trying to use the Rental Property Cal to analyze the second home. I would LOVE a little help on a few areas Brandon did not cover as in depth on his video tutorial.
Would anyone be so kind as to walk through this calculator once with me? I am excited to learn but a bit confused on a few areas within this calculator!
