I am considering signing up for community college courses such as accounting and finance to invest in my financial literacy. Does anyone have any better suggestions or recommendations?

Hey Davey,
I would suggest Gary Keller's book "Millionaire Real Estate Investor". Attending seminars(note-taking) and going home and revising terms you were unfamiliar added with some google-research is a great way to build upon your learning.
