Thanks Zach for input .
with the city of Houston do you just navigate to the city website to pay.

Also do these numbers sound about correct for STR for COH.

State: 7%
City of Houston : 6 %
Harris County :2%
Harris County-Houston Sports: 2%

Total: 17%

Hello Fellow investors how do handle hotel occupancy Tax in Houston if using say Booking.com (I believe they do not pay taxes on your behalf ). Is there an easy to  do this .   Seems in San Antonio they are required to do this monthly.

It came from VRBO  , I figured as such  , Thanks

This is a  first one for me,  guest inquiring wants to stay for 21 days , states for Vacation( for Two people: Him & spouse ).  However states His company will be paying for vacation and as such  can ONLY pay by sending company check or certified check.

sounds interesting /something  not quite right , but like I said this is a first one . Anyone with similar experience , seems trying to avoid  the OTA screening process. Do just try to max the stay at 14 days .

Thanks  in advance

Kwame

@Dave Stokley, Tnx for feedback, back yard got a lil delayed, however we had to list
