Hey Everyone! What is the easiest and best way to figure out if a city, neighborhood, etc. allow for short term rentals? I don't want to make a purchase without making sure its allowed.

Hi Everyone,

My name is Kyle and I'm about to finish grad school and start my career which makes for an exciting time for me and my family. I recently picked up the book Waking up the Financial Genius Inside You and it got my mind racing about real estate! I want to do it right and start early. Basically, I know almost nothing about the real estate investing game and joined to soak up knowledge and experience from others. I'm hoping BiggerPockets can make a difference as I start saving for my first investment. I look forward to learning with you all.
