Dustin I went down to the tax office. i found 30 names of private mortgages holders when i got home i tried to look them up. I only found one. The problem is most of the names are common,so there is more than one person with that name. do you know another way to find and sell notes

Has anyone read the book. If so i have a question regarding chapter 16. my question is when you sell the private mortgage note how do you put your name in it so you can get your check from escrow? or do you put your name in it. Has anyone done what the chapter told you to do?

We have been trying to buy a primary residence since last year. We are trying to find something for us before we start investing Everyone is over bidding on these darn properties. I don't understand why someone would bid $50,000 over the asking price. how can we ever get a home? we want to stay here in san diego. I'm not sure if i'm doing something wrong. I see properties sell for are price range we want to stay in but we seem to also be to late and miss out. I can we get in on the good deals. I have been through a few agents. I can't seem to find one who knows what they are doing. I need help. they just tell me to bid higher.

Has anyone every brought a Shelf Corporations? How do you look up its history to know if its a good one to get? Is it better to buy a Shelf Corporation or start up a new LLC?
