I've been looking for a group of active women investors who are interested in a variety of assets classes including real estate, equity, debt, crowdfunding etc. BP is a great community but would be great to have a more intimate group of women who can easily reach out to one another. Slack is great for group communications. Are there other women investors here on BP who would like to join such a group for "Women in Investing"? If yes, please let me know! Thanks Naveen. I'm opportunistic and looking at both. From my initial research, it seems that vacant lots might be a higher value opportunity but there is the risk of long holding periods. Would like to hear other thoughts.

Great idea @Jenny Cunningham- I've been thinking about this as well and created "Women in Investing". It's a group on Slack (not a fan of FB!)
I had been looking for groups dedicated to women investors but couldn't find any. I also think it would be awesome to expand the group to investors across different asset classes. We all have much to contribute whether it be real estate, equity, debt or any other asset classes. If you are interested to join it, please provide your name and email on this google form: http://goo.gl/forms/vUEimXDjuU. You will receive an invite in your email.

I'm looking for investors experienced with tax sale auctions around the SF bay area (alameda county, contra costa county, santa cruz county). Would be great to find opportunities to co-invest. Please share your thoughts on what might be best ways to find like minded investors locally.

As an investor and silicon valley tech professional, I really like how crowdfunding for real estate is evolving. I've invested in a few deals on FundRise and Realty Mogul. I've also looked at a variety of other sites including Early Shares, Patch of Land and Realty Shares. Specially interested in understanding the hurdles investors as well as borrowers might be running into.
I'm here to network and learn from fellow investors/ borrowers on what they see as their own hurdles when they go about finding deals/ raising money (do investors get sufficient data to vet deals? is it easy for borrowers to work with the sites? how are funded deals performing? what kind of tools might be helpful to improve the experience etc)
