I am having the same issue with a property. Even though one of the neighbors gave me information to finally contact the management company that's managing the property I googled the address, went on the hcad to find out tax info any every other Harris county website and it's like the address doesn't even exist. I have never had a situation like that and thought I was the only one. I will definitely be waiting for answers with you...

Jeff W. is correct.... that's what I was speaking about in my last comment, but I will continue to work at wholesaling. If you join the social media blogs you will see there are investors out there literally asking you to take their money but the deals are seeming to be far and few between.  Much motivation to all the wholesalers out there keep pressing, but it is thick and saturated with wholesalers and even as a wholesaler myself I see the deals other wholesalers are offering and they are ridiculous. Stand out, don't be greedy in time you will succeed. If you are a wholesaler like me you can't afford to invest in the other segments of investing now...stay motivated.

@Jason Meneley I find a lot of free meetings on the website eventbrite.com.

@Trey Watson are you a wholesaler as well? The reason I asked is because Sam was asking for someone to co-wholesale with but you said you couldn't, but then offered to run comps for him and then offered to inspect the property and make an offer.

I just went to a Real Estate event 2 days ago here in Houston, TX and everyone said they were doing wholesale deals like crazy there was even a title company at the event that worked with wholesalers to complete their deals, I am not aware the  law you are referring to but if there is one it doesn't apply to Houston, TX.

I have an interest in a property near my home it's been vacant for over a year. Today I went to take a look at it to get a better understanding of the condition, now that I've seen it I want to make an offer. I have searched the web and every appraisal website, county clerk, tax website and on most of the sites the address doesn't even pull up it's like its a ghost address....how do you find the owner in Houston, Texas?

@Shanequa J. I noticed it's been awhile since you spoke about being burned out....how's the wholesaling business going since your last post (not to step on any toes gentelmen) but I have been trying to connect with some of the female wholesaler within the platform. I don't mind getting advice and any information from anyone, I was just a little curious about your progress as a new wholesaler myself.

@Chris Bounds thanks for your reply it's always good to know someone close to home has dealt with a lender you are considering. Working on a deal currently hoping to use them in the future, but getting that confirmation of usage from you makes me feel a lot more comfortable about choosing them and gives validation to their creditability as a lender. Also thanks for letting me know that they have free investor meetings I have been looking for those in the Houston area.
