Can anyone recommend good, reliable contractors in the Ft. Lauderdale/Pompano Beach, Florida area? My husband and I are just starting our investing career and are looking for contractors to add to our team.

@Account Closed Our plan is to mainly use private money lenders and hard money lenders for rehabbing and we'd like to take the money we make from rehabbing and put it towards long term rental units.

Thank you @Account Closed! I've heard trailer parks and storage units are great investments and those are actually at the top of my list of areas I'd like to look into buying.

Hi everyone, 

My name is Laura, my husband and I are new to the investing world! We've been looking through the site for information and are really surprised with the wealth of knowledge provided on here! We've already found answers to questions we have just by searching previous questions asked in the forum!

My husbands job moves him frequently, but we're currently located in the Ft. Lauderdale/Pompano Beach, FL area and we're interested in rehabbing and buying rental properties in this location. We're hoping to learn enough within the next year to be able to take our knowledge with us and implement it in our next location and continue with an investing career.

Our goal is to do at least two rehabs within the next year and buy a rental property, hopefully a multi-family unit. When we started looking into investing someone mentioned Bigger Pockets as a great place to network and learn, which is how we ended up here! We're very much looking forward to meeting other investors and like minded people!

My husband and I are new to real estate investing and want to learn how to rehab and wholesale properties. We've joined some meetups and have been to a seminar, but would like someone who has been doing this for a while to act as a mentor to us. We'd be willing to work with you, shadow you, help you in your business, basically whatever it takes to learn the ins and outs.
