Peter,
I live in Texas and around here it's more like $3,000 to move a doublewide.
What is the total per month going rate for homes like this (including lot rent) in that area? Is it high enough to pay lot rent and for you to make several hundred a month? If not, this won't work.
To consider this one, you would need an agreement (probably in writing) with the mobile home park owner that you wouldn't owe any lot rent during months the home is unoccupied. They should be open to this, since it's in their best interest to have the home sold and bringing in lot rent. No way do you want to be responsible for that amount of lot rent.

HI William,

You should be able to call the propane company and have them bring one out. Where I live you just rent them. Back when we had propane in the 90s, I think we paid 85 a year for the tank rental.

Oh, congratulations, Ali! I agree, babies give you a whole new perspective on life and success.

I have a few reasons I want to be successful. I want to replace my husbands truck driving income because his health is getting really bad and he may not be able to work at driving much longer.

I want to be able to hire good tutors for my children.

I want to be able to give generously to help other people.

Hi Jerome,

Just wanted to say welcome. Nothing wrong with being a note finder or broker or cash flow specialist or whatever you want to call it.

I'm new to note investing myself. I'm sure I have tons to learn as well..

Cool. We have a celebrity among us.

But for some reason, the pictures won't show for me. I only have Xs.

Welcome to the forum. There is so much to learn here and it's a great place to network.

I'm near Houston, but I invest in notes.

My personal opinion is that recently divorced or going-through-a-divorce are risky, because their life is often very unstable.

I moved 15 times in 2 years after my divorce (many years ago).

Also, a lot of times there is a lot of conflict and violence with the ex-spouse.

Welcome to BP. I'm sure you'll learn a lot here. I'm in Houston myself. We have lots of members in Dallas.

My husband loves scuba diving, too. He tried to teach me once in the pool and I almost drowned myself. :D Not a water person at all.
