Hello!

I recently went around a couple neighbors near my location and have found some houses which look to be in the need of some love, after coming home i found out there was a strip of 3 properties all along the road and did research. The original owner has passed, but they are now in a Trust. I guess im at this point should I send a letter to the tax address to see if they would consider selling? one of the properties under the trust is listed as the tax address. Thoughts? Red Flags? any input is appreciated, or how you would approach this type of situation. I drove past the main address and it is an amazing well keep house, but i did notice it had quite the looking winnebago in the drive way. im thinking of just mailing them direct mail letter seeing if they are interested in selling, anyone have any insight or info that would be a red flag for the trust?

Thanks for any insight/ advice ahead of time.

hoping one day to be like @Kyle Collette, he as good at investing as he is at tennis, a pro. keep making them moves man, great story. keep us updated on that 4 plex

@Alamen Ems I would enjoy a follow up when you process your first deal! hope you get the first fish and start reeling them in. My wife and are in the moment considering what you and your wife did. we built 3 years ago, and a house like mine just sold for 190k which we purchased for 150k. and since we lived in it for over 2 years im looking into the capital gains rule, super exciting stuff to learn.which i have way more upgrades plus the corner lot with an awesome back yard. We are considering doing this to gain capital to purchase a multifamily, and then house hack. and attempt to get a somewhat fixer upper and then BRRR it. The amount of information on this site is amazing, Good luck on your first deal.

Thank you @Kurt Phillips! i have already found that out! its amazing, people with real experience vs trying to google everything is crazy helpful. The abbreviations and acronyms are always fun to look up, but my favorite is " ROI " who doesn't like money?
