I live in Ohio and our winters are sometimes severe. Someone once told me you can't do construction work during the winter because it affects the materials. (Such as tar, concrete, wood, etc). Roofs and foundations are especially difficult to do correctly in the cold, or so I am told. Is there truth to this, or should I try for a different income stream during certain seasons?

I am brand new to real estate. I was advised to start an LLC, open a business bank account, and then seek out investors. What do I need to do to establish a relationship with an investor, and what questions do I need to ask to get my new business off the ground?
