@Jonathan B.@Brady Morgan Interesting question and answer. Thanks for posting.

@Kyle J. Excellent information. Thanks for posting.

@Sendhil Krishnan Really informative post. Thanks for taking the time.

@Jeff Cichocki thank you for the information. Yes, definitely new to this part of RE and trying to get educated on it as quickly as possible. Would love to partner with someone to learn the ropes. Thanks for your input!

@Kyle J. Thanks for the link to the post and the info provided. Where are you in northern ca? That’s where I spent most of my life, although I’m in so cal now. Good to know about the broker part/interest rate. I am a licensed broker. Might as well put it to some use!

@Ann Bellamy thank you for referring me to your article on the subject. That was helpful!

Anyone doing PML in CA that would be willing to share the documents used between you and the borrower (feel free to omit any confidential information)?

Other than a first lien position on the property, which can be difficult in CA depending on LTV, do you use anything else for collateral?

What are your typical loan amounts and terms?

Thank you so much!  Still trying to get a handle on this.

@Jeff Cichocki Thank you!! I think you may have answered my question about the difference between a HML and Private Money lender. Is the difference then whether you're lending on owner occupied vs non owner occupied?? Would it be safe to say that you could have a loan for each that are identical, with the only difference being one is OO (PML) and the other is NOO (HML)?

@Joshua Garcia Seems good to me from what I know. What’s your cash flow?
