Guest Speaker: Visiting us from Las Vegas, Nevada, will be “surfer dude” Jason Porter. Jason connects with his audiences at a deeper level is because… well frankly, he’s lived a pretty “weird” life. He is a surfer who grew up surfing in a pool in Arizona. He graduated High School in Brazil, living eight years outside the United States. He speaks Portuguese and Spanish fluently. He considers himself “Latino de Corazon.” He has been married to Mona, from Samoa, for 33 years and built the first surf resort in her home country. He is an Amazon Best-Selling author who never graduated from college. More significantly, his purpose in investing is greater than money. He advocates socially responsible real estate investing… “doing good while doing well.”

Jason loves to say that he hasn’t had a job since he was 27 years old. And while it is “technically” true, that doesn’t mean he hasn’t worked. In fact, he’d be the first to tell you that he works his @$$ off and wouldn’t have it any other way. He is a full-time real estate investor and a part-time business owner. Since 1998 he has helped thousands of investors do the same… generate full-time income and build massive wealth while running part-time businesses.

Jason's focus since 2008 has been the little understood investing strategy of "Tax Deed Investing." The amazing thing about tax deeds is that they offer investors the opportunity to invest in real estate cheaper than any other form of acquisition. Jason's students' target purchase price is generally 10% to 50% of After Repaired Value ("ARV"). Even in today's hyper-competitive market, Jason's students routinely purchase properties for 40 cents on the dollar and below.
