I just bought a forclosure at the courthouse steps. Had quote for insurance all lined up. The house is occupied and I'll have to have the people evicted. The insurance underwriter wants an electrical inspection within 30 days from the date the policy begins since the house is 40 years old and I have no information about the current condition. Is this normal?
Don't know if I can get someone into the house in 30 days. Am waiting on the advice of the attorney for that.
