I feel the exact same way about my out of town property. If my tenant is happy and the PM is responsive, then I'm happy. A percentage point here or there is worth it. Also, I will definitely reach out when the time comes. Thanks!

Hi @joefacenda

I'm a total newbie but I wanted to give my two cents since I live in the area. I moved to Charlotte about two years ago and wanted to get a feel for the city before I bought anything. I am still currently renting. In my search for rentals, I had experiences with a lot of property management companies. In my experience, from a tenants perspective, Park Avenue was not responsive, a phone system nightmare, the website not up to date and signage in yards not correct. I have no idea of the landlord side but that is my experience from the tenant side. I currently have Niche Properties as my property manager and I could not say enough amazing things about him. It is a small company but he always responds to issues within an hour via email, even late at night and weekends. I would recommend at least reaching out to see what he has to offer. It isn't a big company, but his service is phenomenal.

Hi BP!

I'm new to BP and would love to introduce myself. I moved to Charlotte about a year ago. About the same time, I started listening to all sorts of podcasts, BP one of them. I've loved real estate since I bought my first home at 22. It is now a rental property since I moved to Charlotte. I suppose that is where this crazy ride started. Now I can't get enough and am reading books and blogs on BP as fast as I can. I know I still have so much to learn but I just wanted to introduce myself instead of hiding in the shadows and not participating! Even crazier, I am planning on a career move to real estate broker within the next year also. Big things for me in the future, and I will keep you all updated. Thank you all for putting the spark under me and giving me the tools and network to believe this is possible!
