Thank you, JD.

In-person showings just aren't efficient. And you can't accommodate everyone's schedule.  It takes longer to lease in-person-and it's expensive.

I think the evictions are a tenant screening issue more than an issue with self-guided tours vs in-person.

The way we screen tenants tells us all we need to know 99% of the time.  Our default rate is very low-even with self-guided tours.

Are any property managers (with 20+ doors) controlling access for all of their properties under management remotely with smart locks-in one system?

Does anyone have a recommendation for a service for property managers that integrates the use of motion activated cameras to monitor self showings or vacant properties?

It seems like the cost of smart locks, WIFI, cameras and installation would be about $600.  Who is offering a solution, or is there one?

Trying to figure out how to minimize the upfront costs for each door.

Any help, input or advice is appreciated!!

Their credit reports, IDs and background checks are usually enough to verify their identity.  We review three months worth of bank statements (with scrubbed account numbers) to verify income and their financial health as well.  All of the confluences will add up, or they won't, as far as verifying someone is who they say they are.

Most credit reporting offered with property management software will include an ID check of some sort also.
