Hello BP, I made an offer on a home. I have been preaproved using an FHA loan. I think the house won't pass inspection the roof has a whole. This house is a REO foreclosure. If my offer was accepted , how can I get them to help pay for the roof if they were selling as is and most times those banks don't want to help ?

You don't think I'll get better deal dealing with Listing agent ?? Don't they split commission if i get an agent ?

I'm working on buying my first home. Just bumped into a property that I know is hot and that's what I want. Just started trying to get approval from a bank or mortgage company. FHA loan is what I'm hoping for. Should I get an agent or deal directly with listing agent ??

If I was the company I'd want my money too. And a whole year? I'd be pissed too if I didn't receive the money after a whole year since they did the work. Our company deals with picky homeowners all the time that go over board and try to get us to do things that are out of scope. Make sure you're not one of these homeowners. .....
