Hello BP,

I am a new investor currently looking for my first deal in the San Diego area. I'm currently getting experience working with a local wholesaler and doing some cold calling. I have two main goals for this year which are to flip at least two homes and add some rental properties to my currently nonexistent portfolio . I will soon be going back to my hometown Buffalo,NY to find the rental properties I previously mentioned. I'm looking to expand upon the business relationships I have made thus far. Since I have been on BiggerPockets I have found so many people able and willing to help me. I can't wait to network with more people and hopefully some day soon be able to add value to each business relationship.

 Hi Donnell!

Thank you for your post.  I'll be in San Diego from April 18th.  Specifically, looking for a 4 unit multi-family with renters already in place.  Please let me know if we may be able to help each other on our respective investment property journey.

Best,

Mario

 Hi Francis,

Thank you for your reply.  One just slipped through my fingers here in L.A.  They just accepted an offer.  True, they are rare ... but are here.  My focus has changed to San Diego ... will be there on the 18th looking for similar property.  If anyone can help, greatly appreciated!

Thanks again and great luck!

Hi Dave,

Thank you for starting this post!

I'm originally from Washington DC, am currently in Los Angeles, CA for the month of April, looking for my first investment property.  Specifically, a 4 Unit Multi-family to be my primary residence while renting out the additional 3.  I'm pre-approved by Quicken Loans for 400k and would be Great to find a local Investor Real Estate Agent.

A little about me ... I grew up in Washington, DC, majored in Information Technology, dabbled a bit in a couple of businesses (Real Estate and IT/Wi-Fi). I’m looking to exit from the rat race again, so I can spend more time with family and friends, begin traveling more frequently, and find my new passion in Real Estate Investing!

I lived in Port St. Lucie, FL for a few years with my wife so that she could be closer to family.  Coincidentally, it was during the real estate bust of 2008-9, and learned more about the foreclosure market.  Unfortunately, banks weren't ready to push the button and ended up starting a successful business in Wi-Fi installation and management for the hospitality industry.

Thanks again for the Post, and any help is Greatly appreciated!
