Post: New investors looking to borrow bigger pockets books

Hi there!
I was wondering if anyone in the Philadelphia area has purchased any of the bigger pockets books and would be willing to let two young budding inventors borrow them as we learn more about the industry.
We're both fresh out of college and looking to get our first property in the next few months. Knowledge is power and we're trying to learn as much as we can before we take the plunge. If anyone is willing and able we'd really appreciate the gesture and in exchange, we'd love to buy you a coffee or lunch to discuss your journey in real estate.
Hope we get to meet some of you!

Been watching a property in Norristown for a while that has solid numbers. Trying to schedule a tour but curious if anyone has experience renting in this area and what it's like? The house has been on the market for a bit and it makes me wonder what might be wrong with it.
How are the tenants you've worked with? Does the area seem like it may get some development in the next 5-10 years?

This is an idea I've been throwing around a lot lately. There is a lot of development going on in my city and it is is all being pushed north. I've been thinking of purchasing a lot to build a 3 unit building made out of shipping containers. Just wanted to get peoples opinions about this idea.
Does anyone have any experience with these types of constructions? Are there any major pitfalls to look out for? Do people think this is a viable way to build greener and more affordable housing?
Post: Converting triplex into quadplex - Philadelphia, PA

Hey guys! First time posting on the BP forum and looking forward to your responses.
I found a triplex (zoned RSA-5) and after running the numbers it runs with the three units but it kills with four. I was thinking of converting the basement into a separate unit but wasn't sure if that'd be possible with the current zoning. Hope someone can provide some insight!
