Hi Jeff and Jill, thanks for the warm welcome. Its great to be here. I do have a couple questions though. What is the best way to get an estimate for insurance? I have a couple duplexes in mind that I am trying to analyze  and I have called a few Agents with very little help at all, they do not even call me back, except from one who didn't look anything up. I think he just knew what it might cost per year based on his  experience. I was grateful for that. I realize it takes a little bit of time and they may not want to bother with me but I have to purchase it from somebody, right?  I am learning how to use the calculator but I need an approximate number to make it work.  I  have never had a  hard time getting a quote before with single family homes. Is this normal for duplexes? This would be my first one. Thanks

Hi there, newer investor with one rental property under my belt in Venice,  Florida which is a single family home. Looking for a deal on a  duplex now in the  Clearwater Florida  area.
