I am also looking into Birmingham. As well as Huntsville, Montgomery, Columbus OH, and Milwaukee WI. for multi-family properties. I live in Huntsville currently and will be transitioning to lower Alabama this summer. Happy to try and help.

Investment Info:

Townhouse buy & hold investment.

Purchase price: $90,000
Cash invested: $20,000

First investment property!! Negotiated a private loan with 3% interest for 20-years with a $90k selling price. The conventional loan rate was 7.625% for 30- years on a selling price of $100k
