Hi everyone,

I am a fairly new member of BP. Im closing on my first SFR next week and I am looking to grab a couple more in the next 90 days. Does anyone on this board have experience with accepting S8 on their properties in Ft. Worth or White Settlement? I am interested in figuring out exactly what criteria the home needs to fit to maximize the voucher, as well as to get a litmus test on how accurate the voucher estimates from DHA are. Lastly, does anyone know of solid property managers in this area?

Good morning. Did you end up going with market or Section 8? Where in N. Dallas was this rental? I'm looking for opportunities in the N. Dallas area as well so would be great to hear about your experience.

Hi everyone,

I'm looking to make some SFR investments in the Dallas area (Oak Cliff, South Dallas, Southeast Dallas, Batch Springs over to Mesquite). I'm looking for an agent with knowledge of this area that can also help me find section 8 tenants. I am looking to buy 2-3 properties in the next 2-3 months and have a list of properties saved already. Any referrals to agents with expertise in these areas would be greatly appreciated.
