You need to check with them to answer all your questions.
I like it but had few problems with connecting bank accounts at the beginning. Now it’s all set and money is in my bank within couple of days. Again, it’s free for tenants and me. It doesn’t have any background check option though.

@Kevin Dombrowski buy it fix it (raise value) refinance and use that money to buy another one. I did that 4 times within last 3 years in new Britain. I’m currently looking at another property while still renovating last two

I use zibo.co after moving from cozy.co. I didn’t like apartments.com. Zibo is free for me and tenants.

I guess it all depends on how much you want to put into it.
I would 100% add a meter and wash my hands from having to act as a electrical company as it may cause arguments between you and tenants on many levels.
I would also rip out the radiators and replace it with central AC/heating units as you have good access to both floors (from above and below). By doing so you could forget about any maintenance for years...but again it all depends on your budget.

@Griffin Doninger first of all I would start with zoning and which zone your property is. If it’s in 2 family zone I think you’re not gonna get far. Interactive map is on NB town website

@Michael Doherty no issues really... I just find them very outdated and I wasn’t sure if it’s easy to rent them out. I own properties built after 1950 and felt like it’s different kind of animal. But I guess it’s not. I did get few feedbacks that I should not worry about the age of the house but more of if it’s cleanliness and if it’s updated inside.

If any of those answers are "yes" dig deeper. If not, I'd say you're probably in safe territory. I've found through our property management company - CT Property Management - that the best way to not get a unit rented is through a combination of the above factors!
