@Bryan Whitfield Hey Bryan, welcome. I'd like to talk to you, ask you a few questions. If you'd send me a message with a good number to contact you at it would be deeply appreciated. Thanks Bryan.
@Nate Miersma regular people are limited to 5 real estate transactions per year. I think that applies if you are selling privately though, not with an agent.

Thanks everybody for the info. I hope I pass this thing the first time. Got one more question about the exam. How much about financing and Michigan Laws are covered in the test?

Hello all, I'm taking my Michigan state exam tomorrow afternoon and even though I've been studying my *** off I'm still a little nervous. I took my class through the Michigan Insittite of Real Estate. What I want to know is what areas do they focus on the most? I feel pretty confident with all the math, that is fairly simple. I think for me the most difficult thing is all of the laws (advertising, property mngt, civil rights, ect.).
If anyone has some info for me on the areas that they focus on the most I'd like to know. Thanks.

My interests right now are to get a job and start selling houses. I get what you're saying about being a buyers agent. I feel like if you're a successful buyers agent you can go a long ways in this business. The thing with becoming a successful buyers agent is you need connections. That is one thing I'm lacking right now. Once I can establish myself as an agent then I would start to find potential buyers/investors to work with...@Edmon Ussery
Right now I'm still looking for a broker in metro Detroit area.

Just took my 40 hour class and now going to start applying to take the state exam. I'm looking for a broker who gets a lot of listings and sells a lot of houses. If anyone out there could point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.
