Hey Joe,

I am a tax accountant. I generally do commercial real estate, but can provide some advice on residential and financial accounting aspects. Quikbooks online is a good deal and tool for what it is. While most accountants don't love it, most smaller businesses (anything under $1 mill. in annual revenue) use it. I don't have a ton of experience on the input end of quikbooks unfortunately.  I mostly get the books and deal with depreciation and such. However, feel free to ask me any questions about it all!

I am looking to get started in real estate investing, but am not sure the best way to begin. Should I aim for a cheap property? How much capital should I save before starting? Are there any other preliminary steps I need to take that I might not have thought through? Grateful for any help or advice given!
