Thanks @Jennifer Volek and @Preston Dean - I'm definitely looking to network.  Any good meetups in the area that you know of?

Hey all -

Trying to think through some innovative ways to get started on the REI journey. We live on an 8 acre plot of land about an hour NW of Fort Worth. We've got a good sized shop building for starters. Also have a decent view from the back of the property. Some options I've been considering:

- Finish out the shop and rent it out barndominium style

- Build a tiny home or get a camper to AirBNB on the corner of the property where there's a view

That said, I'm wondering if we are just too far off the beaten path for either of these to be effective.

Curious if anyone has any experience and/or thoughts on this?

Thanks

Matt

Hi All -

Excited to jump into the world of REI. The amount of information is overwhelming, but these forums seem like gold. Very inspired by the rookie investing podcast as well.

I'm in the DFW TX area and looking to connect with other investors.  Going to try my hardest to avoid analysis paralysis!

Hi All -

I'm SOOOO pumped to be in these forums.  Totally amazed at how much depth of knowledge is here for folks like me getting started in this space.  THANK YOU to everyone who contributes here.  Also hugely thankful for the Rookie podcast.

As my wife and I are getting started, we are focused on accelerating the education process.  I'm wondering if BPcon is a good place to start out vs jumping into a bootcamp.  Trying to budget our available time...that's the biggest challenge right now.

Thanks!
