Hello All,

I'm considering many investment strategies for my SDIRA. The two that I'm most interested in is turnkey properties that I would buy and hold and the BRRRR strategy. My questions is regarding the BRRRR option and how difficult it is to 1) find a hard money lender willing to provide the initial capital and 2) how hard is it to refinance w/a traditional lender once the rehab is complete.

Thanks,

Hello All,

Im a new member to the BP community and looking for a referral to an attorney in the San Jose or San Fransisco area that can help advise me on setting up an LLC. I'm intending on using a SDIRA w/checkbook control and have been told that I should set it up under an LLc.

Thanks!

Matt

@Brian Eastman Really appreciate the follow up. I will try and seek out an attorney as it sounds like this is the best place to start.

Hi All - I'm just starting the process of rolling a portion of an old 401k into a self directed IRA, w/checkbook control. Im still doing some due diligence on which custodian will be the best to go with.I have been told by one custodian(Pensco Trust) that I will need to have a "special Advisor" attached to my self directed IRA/LLc. My questions is does anyone know what this typically costs? Also, is this common practice across all custodians.

Thanks!

Matt

Hello All,

I'm a newbie to the BiggerPockets community and looking for a referral to a reputable lender in the bay area that specializes in FHA loans, preferably one who also is familiar with the 203k stream line product. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
