Thank you Heather I will definitely try to track him down. I had another person mention his name in the last week so clearly he is the guy!

Hi all,

I’m a property owner in Tennessee and currently lease several homes to Oxford House. So far, the experience has been great — I’ve been working with them for a little over a year.

I’d love to connect with anyone who’s had a longer-term relationship with Oxford House. Specifically, I’m curious to hear:

  • What’s the longest rental term you’ve had with them?

  • Have you run into any issues over time?

  • How do you approach negotiating rent increases as the lease renews?

Any insight or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance.

Sounds like you are doing well flipping in Tennessee. Have you considered just keeping your flipping business and just doing it out of state? I live in San Diego and do 10+ flips a year in Jacksonville FL. Living out of state has actually forced me to create better systems because I am not there.

I have considered it but do not have those systems in place. I would love to hear more about how you do it remotely.

Moved from Ca to Tn where I have been flipping homes. I have done 16 in the last two years and things are going well but we would like to move back to CA. Specifically San Diego. Anyone have luck with flipping homes in southern Ca.

If you can do it there, you can do it here. Especially since you're familiar with CA. Finding the deals will probably be a little tougher and of course the prices. You'll probably want to cut some large margins, I do.

Where are you flipping at in Ca?

@Amanda Barker

Thanks for the inspiration!

How did you go about finding/ joining your mastermind? I have heard good things about Master mind groups but have never looked into it.

Thanks

Hey John,

I actually just moved to the area so I will be overseeing it locally. It is my first flip period.

Hi all,

I’m new to the area and currently in the process of trying to lock down a single family flip. I will be doing some work myself but would like to get a bid from a contractor. Any recommendations for a good contractor as well as a home inspector? The home is in Cleveland Tennessee.
