Hey BP fam,

I was walking through my neighborhood today and saw a house that has definitely been neglected.  There's also a wheelchair ramp taking up half the walkway.  I did a google search and found out the lady is 94 years old, name, phone number.  When I went on the LA County Assessor's website I can see that the taxes are current.  I can't find any purchase history or the address where the tax bill is sent.  Any suggestions for this rookie investor?

I am also a VA native living in Socal. I own Marinate restaurant in West Hollywood. I'm a newb investor looking at Richmond, VA because it's a hot market and my cousin lives within driving distance. That makes me feel a bit safer with investing long distance. This thread was really helpful. Thanks guys!
