Hi Dillon:

I live here in Leesburg and recently obtained my Real Estate License.  If you want to connect and discuss, please message me and I can try to help you out.  Maybe research some comps for you on both options.

Mark

@Minh Do - I recently passed the RE exam and I am looking for a "investor friendly" broker to affiliate with.  Do you have any recommendations?

@James Selbe and @Ron Tamber thank you for your responses.  Regarding selecting a Broker to hang my license with, do you have any thoughts or recommendations as to how best to proceed?  As mentioned, I plan on keeping my corporate job and investing on the side and not necessarily becoming a Real Estate Agent.  Is there a particular agency that is better than another for this type of arrangement whether it be fee structure or training?  Thanks again.

Hi everyone: I have been interested in RE forever but as with most, life happens and other things take priority. I'm now at a point where I can dedicate more time to my own pursuits and I have started off with taking the required VA RE licensing training and have recently passed the exam.

I am seeking advice from the community as to selecting a broker to work with here in the Leesburg / Northern Virginia area. I plan on keeping my corporate job and invest on the side so the main reason for licensure was for access to the MLS and being able to investigate listed properties on my own and of course, market and sell my own properties. I am wondering if there are brokers that will entertain holding my license knowing that these are my goals and not necessarily (at this time) being a full fledge RE agent.

Appreciate any advice and help.
