We are still hoping to have BPCON2021 in New Orleans, however, there are currently restrictions from the city of New Orleans that dramatically impact the capacity allowed at events. We are working with our venue, the Sheraton New Orleans Hotel, and local DMCs to see what our best next steps are.

Any updates on the itinerary? Thanks!

Welcome and congratulations! You did more than most people will ever do. Educate yourself and stick with it and you'll have your first property before you know it. Good luck!

This was a couple years ago and there were definitely quite a few REO in this area. Seems to boom and bust month to month around here.

Strange but true, according to the public record links. So it CAN happen, though unlikely for most cases.
Wish we had 30 days to pay the balance in GA. I'd even settle for 10 days! Funds due on the spot or the bidding opens back up.

It was great. I had no trouble registering, bidding and closing. I think I actually placed the final bid and won it all on my smartphone while running around town! I did choose to use my own closing company just for some assurances, since it was my first deal. I have used the closing company assigned to the properties since then and haven't had any issues.

Initially, I was hesitant to jump on this property using the 70% rule as a guide. After looking around for other deals and debating on how much profit is enough to make a deal worth it, I went for it. If things had wound up costing more than I expected I might break even after selling, and that was okay to me at that time. A couple of months went by and a really nice deal presented itself and I was spread too thin to take advantage. Ultimately, I gained experience as well as made money, but if I had valued my time more I would have came out better in the end.
