@Alfredo T. As a Property Manager in Maryland I would recommend it from the obvious PM side and potential investor. You might be fine with doing one or two rentals yourself but hiring a PM company as a buffer between you and the tenant is a worthwhile expense. Both from a time and legal perspective. PM is is very time consuming proposition that involves knowing your tenants rights, which are quite a few in Maryland, and handling sticky situations that arise on a regular basis.

Thank you for all the information. It seemed like what I found online did have a lot of rules and regs. So I assume you can't sublet or lease them either?

Are there other creative options for investors who are first time buyers with limited credit history?

I came across this option when looking for possible investments that my son who is just out of college could try. I really don't know much about them so any advice would be appreciated.

@Gabriel G. Thank you. I have but haven't heard the best reviews on customer service. Do you have any experience with them?

@Account Closed Thank you for the advice. This entity is to serve other purposes at the moment. You are right to not put cart before the horse.

@Account Closed Thank you! I have used plenty of Jack Legs and have been very pleased and saved a lot of money in the process. Unfortunately everything needs to be done by the book since I'm working for a professional property management company. Even if you know anyone inFC that is licensed that you worked have with before and liked their work I'd really appreciate having more options. I will definitely follow-up with them.
