Hi norma!

Welcome to BP! The best advice that I've read over and over is to network as much as possible! It sounds like you have some definite goals in mind, so much luck to you! As you probably know already, there is a ton of information on this site and lots of people willing to help with great advice. Maybe I'll see you at the REIA meeting in January? Take care!

Hello everyone,

I'm looking for California new and/or experienced investors looking for ways to fund your project.  I'm interested in the fix/flip niche.  Connect with me and let's talk about something that I've recently come across!

I am also interested in starting a career in REI and like Marcus, am learning as much as I can via online sites, finding that Bigger Pockets has been a wealth of information so far.

I am interested in knowing if it is unheard of for a real estate investor, specifically, someone who is in the business of flipping houses, ever considers mentoring someone new to the field free of charge or even for a fee.  I can't imagine there would be a more valuable tool in learning about the investment business   I feel like this might be a stupid question, but I'm asking anyway!! lol

Also, I have just recently begun researching wholesale investing and am wondering what is the best way to make connections there.  (I am looking into buying from a wholesaler to flip a property in my area).

Just as a side note, I have been starting to research REIA meet ups to start gaining some connections, but the link I followed only directed me to southern California REIAs and I am in central CA (salinas/monterey peninsula)

Thanks everyone & have a great day!
