Hi Melisa, I am an investor and house-hacker too. Right now, it is tough to find something in the 300k range other than a condo in Miami. Would you consider Broward or West Palm Beach? It is expensive up this way as well but not as bad as Miami. You may want to try to look for a SFH that can be house hacked or already has a mother in law quarter.
