Quote from @Brooklyn McCarty:

Cute place!

Title: do highlights instead of sentences.
X mins to beach/coffee/free parking

Whatever your highlights are.

Photos: add captions to all of them. I would also like to see drone shots of your place in proximity to the beach.

Interior: can you add a king to the bedroom? It might be tight, but it would help for sure.
Also, get some stainless appliances in there. And a kitchen area that small you could spring for a cute backsplash for minimal costs.

Happy hosting!

Thanks Brooklyn, really appreciate your suggestions. Unfortunately, we can't fit a king in there, with a queen there's just enough clearance to open the bathroom door!        I love the idea of a cute backsplash, will definitely be adding this after the summer season!

Really appreciating your responses! We included the parking lot photo to show that the rental is in a converted motel. It felt important to show the building. But you think that's not necessary @Bruce Woodruff @John Underwood?

I don't see that as a positive. So why show it? Mention it in the verbiage as John said....

Thanks guys! I went ahead and removed that picture. Thanks for taking the time to take a look and give me some feedback!

Barbie called--she wants her stove back...

Just kidding--I think you have made an excellent looking beach house, making very good use of the space provided.

The parking lot would look stunning if it was fresh black.

When they slurry it, maybe replace the grey top pic with a blacktop pic with fresh painted lines.

Good use of trendy beach colors.

Every pic I clicked on made me like it even more.

I like it.

Good Luck!

Thank you so much, Scott! I appreciate your feedback. I agree with you on the parking lot. Believe it or not, part of that was recently paved, and all of it was re-striped! Parking is pretty tight in this area, so I guess they did the best they could.

Hi,

Well it's finally here! My first STR. I've been reading/listening/learning from BP for over a year and finally felt ready to pull the trigger. Please have a look at my listing and let me know what you think. I value all the input on this forum, and am so thankful to be a part of this community!

@Scott Mac

Are you seriously victim blaming here?

Hi Will,

Although I don't own anything there, it's where I grew up, and I know the area well. I would think you'd do really well in the Berkshires, specifically Lee/Lenox for the quaint New England charm. Another area to consider is North Adams/Williamstown - you've got 2 colleges, as well as MassMOCA, which is a huge draw. Not to mention the proximity to VT for skiing, hiking, etc. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions about the area.

Anywhere in the Winnepesaukee area would do well. You've obviously got the lake in the summer, and ice fishing, skiing, and snowmobiling in the winter. Not to mention proximity to the Whites.

Another area that I've got my eye on is the Franklin/Tilton area. They are building the first whitewater park in NE where the 3 rivers meet. Looks to be a huge project that will bring a ton of people to the area. Happy to connect and share ideas.

I've been looking for an STR in this area for about a year (still a tough market). Although I don't own one yet, I've done a ton of research, and feel like I have a pretty good grasp on the area. I'd be happy to connect and share what I know.
