David Rutledge
I haven't had the chance to learn much about Charlotte. Still learning about the Raleigh area.
But I've wanted a multi since I was 21...now I'm 39 and by golly, I plan to get one.
I was just in SoCal last weekend for a family reunion. Next time I head that way, we should grab some coffee.

David Rutledge can't wait to see what you come up with. I actually do have a 2nd home in NC and just fell in love with the place, so I definitely wanted to invest there.
But keeping my options open.

$41k for a mentoring package?
Oh dear. I shouldn't be surprised.

Good question David Rutledge since I often wondered about this myself.
I'm from CA as well and have one rental here. Heading to NC to search for a rental there.
Funny, what made you choose NC to invest in?
I considered IN as well since my in-laws are there.

Walter Minja Raleigh is the capital and there are some affordable properties still available.
And then you have the coast. Beach towns/cities are desirable as well.
I'm sure there are great deals in Charlotte, but I have yet to research the area.

Gabe Cinquepalmi Boy you aren't kidding. The properties are moving quick, while there are a selected few that aren't. Initially went in April to look and finally getting the chance to go back and look again. Pictures from MLS can only show so much, so I hope the ones I'm eyeing look just as good in person.

Gabe Cinquepalmi I'm literally taking the red eye tomorrow to look at properties in NC. I have a 2nd home there now, so now looking for an investment property. SFH and multiunits.

Sophia Morris You are right. The Sac area is still affordable. I just had a friend move up there from Concord. Now I have 2 friends in that area. That Natomas area is growing like crazy, and so is Elk Grove.
I used to spend summers there as a kid and never thought it would grow as much as it has.
A few years ago, we drove to the apple farms to chop down a Christmas tree and noticed that the area has grown there as well.
My hubby wouldn't agree, but I still believe you can invest in California.

Hi Krysti Sam - I'm in Northern California. I have one rental in the Bay Area.
I'm actually taking the red eye tomorrow night to look at properties in North Carolina. I bought a 2nd home there and just fell in love with the place.
I viewed investment properties there earlier this year, and now I'm ready to get back there and make an offer on something. I've been keeping tabs on a few and hoping the sellers are motivated enough to make a deal.
I'm also looking for a multiunit out there as well.
I have an awesome loan officer and 2 great realtors in 2 desirable locations.
