 Hi Larry,

Thanks for the reply! My partner and I are looking into buy and hold small multi-families. We aren't opposed to turnkey, but would like to build some equity by doing some work. At the moment, I think we're trying to feel out the area and see what strategies work best.

Hello BP! I'm looking to gain some information regarding Indianapolis. I'm considering investing in the area as it seems very good for cash flows and price to rent ratios, in addition to the growing economy. I would love to hear from any investors in the area on what areas of Indianapolis they've had success in and which they would avoid, etc. Also looking to network with realtors, PM's, and lenders in the area!

Thanks!

Hello BP! I recently obtained my PE (Professional Engineering) license and I was wondering if there are any PE's out there who were able to leverage their license for real estate investing. I would love to hear any thoughts on this. Thanks!

@Apani Smith

Thanks for reaching out! This area can be quite challenging it seems. Have you had any luck around here yet?

Many are saying that the cash flows are higher in these areas. Mainly, I'm looking for 2-4 unit multifamily which I can use to generate passive income. What type of properties do you invest in?

Heya! I've only got SFRs for now, all out-of-state, and I went the turnkey route for buying them. Helped with being long-distance and less to worry about. :)

 Good to know! What's your experience with turn key companies? I know they get a lot of flack for different reasons.

Nice to see a fellow NYer looking to invest.  I was born and raised in Astoria and obviously the markets by us do not make much sense.  I also invest out of state for passive income.  You got some great feedback from some great people here.  If you need any advice or assistance feel free to let me know!  Bets of luck.

 Thanks a lot Steve! Let me know if I can be of any assistance as well.
