Does anyone know approximately how much it costs to remove asbestos found in tiles underneath carpet? I'm analyzing a property that's approximately 1,200 sq. ft with wall-to-wall carpet in all three bedrooms. Just looking for a ballpark approximation.

Steve Bracero Yep, very high indeed. Even the surrounding towns with 30 miles or so are very expensive. I'm open to exploring towns further out, but I'm just not too familiar with them. Need to do much more research on my end.

Mugdha Joglekar Any luck on your search for investment properties around Boston? I too am new to investing (and BP) and I've been doing similar research over the past few months. I find it challenging to find good deals in the areas I'm interested in investing, but I'll stay committed! I've been looking mostly north of Boston, in areas like Malden, Medford, Melrose, etc.
