Hi Brian, I recently passed the test and went through  The Michigan Institute of Real Estate.  I found they had many learning options  I p-refer to work from from home.  I went with the booklet and CD's + DVD's options.  Learned at my own pace.  Took about 4 weeks and I was ready for the their practice test.   They sent it to me, I sent back.  Passed and received the cert. and credentials to take the test... passed first attempt.  Good luck and let me know if I can be of any help! Hi Roshan, the atmosphere is excellent for rentals in Flint. The water / pipe issues are still in play, but getting better each month. There are a lot of opportunities in the Flint area for multi family. Most people don't realize that Flint has a 65% rental population, meaning nearly 2/3 rds of the people living there are renting in some form. The ROI is pretty good as well.

Now, all that said, I would still be cautious, as it requires a certain knowledge of the area to get the best residential unit in the right neighborhood.   I'm also a full time real estate agent as well as investor.  Please let me know if I can help in any way!  Mike V
