@Christopher Stanis thank you so much for the info. I actually got a call today from the codes office telling me that they are prohibited in the city but they may be ok outside of the city. I have 50 signs with a Google voice number so I may just do it anyway untill I get my first few deals and can pay for other marketing strategies.
@Angela Vann I know in Philadelphia they fine you but I'm not sure about williamsport it's a very small city but I will try to find out more info.
@Michael Quarles what is your preferred method of contacting the seller? Cold calling, mail or somthing else. Direct mail is a long ways down the road for me. For now I had the idea to send the yellow letters to the drive for $$$ sellers because the cheap skip tracing always gives me the wrong phone #s and I have been told that cold calling is a waist of time.
@Danielle McClelland I am getting started now and I'm 22
I am a new investor in williamsport PA and I am interested in starting to use bandit signs. I noticed that there are almost no bandit signs here. I went out looking for a couple hours one night and found 1. I also talked to the lady's at the city hall code office and asked them about if they were legal in the city and they had no idea what I was talking about. They did not know what bandit signs were. I this a big red flag or big untapped opportunity?
@Andy Rumple I am currently in college and completly broke so I need to find the least expensive way to get a deal done so I can spend money on more and better marketing. This is my plan as of now 1. Drive for dollars and leave a post it on the door and mail a actual hand written yellow letter to those leads 2. Bandit signs Thoughts??
New wholesaler here and I am curious as to what the difference between mailing driving for dollars leads and the direct mail strategy.
