Airbnb SuperHost and VRBO Premier Partner.  10 years as a Host in Eugene, OR.  Originally traffic was 80% VRBO, 20% Airbnb.  Ten years later: 90% Airbnb, 10% VRBO.  Both platforms have provided vetted Guests, no issues.

Justin,

Work with an OFFICIAL Airbnb SuperHost Ambassador.  (beware of private consultants that you have to pay.)  Airbnb started this program over 3 years ago.  Airbnb pays vetted, established Hosts with years of successful experience to act as consultants to new Hosts.  The Ambassador will work with the new Host from starting their page set-up, all the way to their first booking.  When the new Host completes their first booking, the relationship ends and the Ambassador is paid, as an independent contractor, by Airbnb (with no cost to new Host).

I've worked with over 500+ new Hosts and I'm happy to help you.  Click the Airbnb link and we're connected.  No obligation, but lots of free advice and guidance.  You will have up to one year to finish your Listing and get a booking before the connection expires.

Here's some information from Airbnb about this program: https://www.airbnb.com/ambassadors

Look forward to helping you,
Mike

Short term rental market is getting oversaturated.  Arizona has been hit the most.
Let's say that 5 years ago there were 100 travelers and 90 STRs.  Everyone is getting bookings.
Now let's say, Travelers have increased to 110, but now there's 200 STR's.
Travel, in general, is up.  But in some geographic markets, STR's are WAY UP.

Contact Tia Politi.  She is the President of the Rental Owners Association of Lane County.  Separately, she offers various landlord services and consulting.  Tia: 541.953.4142.  Separately, if you are not a member, you should strongly consider joining R.O.A. (over 1,200 members representing over 20,000 doors).  Monthly meetings, lots of classes, Helpline available to members, etc.
R.O.A.  office: 541.548.7368, ask for Terie'.  Tell her Mike Grudzien sent you.

I agree on Adam Schulz.  If you call him, tell him that Mike Grudzien recommended him.
