@Patryk Sommer I have also just begun looking in the area.  Have you moved forward with a condo?

Thanks @Brandon Richardson for the detail response.

Myself and two others have been looking in Greyton/Watercolor area the numbers you provided sum up what we were guessing.  As a VR beach house I would be happy paying a little $ each year, knowing that we'd have a place to stay when we came down and it'd hopefully turn a small profit once sold.

Thanks again, and hopefully we'll see you down there soon!  Enjoy the beach.

Thanks @Brett Goldsmith, I believe you are correct.  After I posted the question I asked more questions to the listing agent, and was told the extra funds would need to be in form of money order....on the settlement statement it will appear to come from the sellers, but in fact it was my funds.  A simple work around.  Thanks.

Hi BP Community.  I am in the process of purchasing a short sale.  I received a call yesterday from the listing agent that the purchase price was approved, BUT the bank is asking for $2,500 additional from the sellers.  Because the sellers are unable to pay this, they are asking me (buyer) to pay it.  The odd part to me is, they are asking this amount to be paid to the closing attorney directly --- as it will NOT be part of the closing disclosure.

This is my first SS and didn't know if this is 'typical'?  Thanks for any advice.

Welcome Roy, it's not often you see someone from the Big Village of Maybee---I grew up on Blazer Rd, and spent many hrs at the Little Brown Jug.

Hi @Joe Doman, I'm looking at SFR in Michigan and looking for a lender to do a cash out once I purchase. Do you have contact info of the contact Lake MI Credit Union that I could give a call/email?

Thanks

Josh Mitchell I wouldn't recommend RealEstateExpress.com. I recently started their course and withdrew midway through due to test questions (math) didn't have a correct answer choice. Therefore, I wasted several hours going through these questions but failing each time. Huge waste. I then switch online providers (Mi specific) and had no issues. FWIW - I am an agent, taking the course for another state. I have a good grasp on the information.
