Julie,
I wanted to wish you luck all the way from the east cost. I am a full time employee at an engineering firm looking to get my feet wet in REI. I agree in that the podcasts are a great source of content. I to hear all of the success stories and like you, my wife and I are looking for our first flip as well. We have been taking our plan very slowly and cautiously. We have 2 little ones at home which makes for a much more conservative plan for us but it is a goal we will achieve. Good luck to you on finding and achieving your first flip.

Don,
I am also new to REI and appear to be in the same position you are. I am a younger guy who has been putting money aware for years and very eager to get started in REI. Although I do not have any advice that may help jump start you, I just thought I would welcome you to BP and let you know that someone a few states away is in the same boat you are. Good luck to you in finding and achieving your first flip. Keep me updated on how things are going, I am curious for myself as I to am looking for my first flip.

Keith,
As others have mentioned, great advice. I am also new to REI and eager to learn while utilizing my strengths and skills to achieve new financial goals. The podcasts on here are great and your response above echos all I have learned so far. I'm looking to take the next step and start to attend local REIC meetings. Thank you for taking the time to share your wisdom.
I live in Maryland and am new to BP and Real Estate Investment. I have been listening to the pod casts, reading, and trying to learn as much as I can on the ins and outs of flipping a house. Any advice/suggestions is greatly appreciated. I'm just looking to get started. I want to get beyond the books and start getting some hands on experience. I consider myself a sponge in terms of wanting to learn how to flip a house and where to start.

Hey Chuck. Thanks for reaching out. It's kind of cool to hear from someone right in my own backyard. I'll dig a little deeper into those organizations/events.

Thank you Jill. I have no real Estate background so this is all new to me but I've always been fascinated with the idea of flipping a house and making money doing it. I join BP as a sponge hoping to learn as much as I can and interact with those who may have started off the same way I am now. Thank you for reaching out.

I am new to BP and interested in pursuing the different aspects real estate investing offers. I have a full time job working at an engineering firm and intend on keeping this full time job while expanding my knowledge about real estate investing in my spare time. I look forward to working with others in the community to learn more about real estate investing and what it can offer in terms of short and long term wealth.
