I live in Okeechobee. I buy homes to rent and to sell. I haven't bought land yet but for the most part people buy land out here for recreational use or for long term hold. Depending on where you buy. I'll be buying soon to build new constructions homes but mostly in the town of Okeechobee. Okeechobee county is big but it only has one real town.

Awesome! I live in Okeechobee and I grew up in little farms. This story makes me happy, thanks Andre. I'd love to chat some time about the Okeechobee market. I'm currently rehabbing a home in King's Bay for a flip and have another home on standby until I can get to it located off 68 just north of little farms.

Thanks @Irina Belkofer, I did manage to contact a local bank that has no issue lending to an LLC. I have a meeting with someone at the bank to look at my options. I'll post what come out of that. Thanks again.

I started BRRRRing in my town of Okeechobee, FL a couple of years ago. I started with an auctioned home at my local courthouse auctions. I was able to use a combination of heloc and private loan to buy and rehab this property. I waited 6 months to refinance and did it again and then again. After the first 3 I was able to buy 3 more properties without having to refi out. I recently put the non leveraged properties into an LLC and now I can’t seem to get anyone to refi me out. I now know I should have done my homework before putting them into an LLC. I’m look for some creative ways to leverage long term against them so I can continue what I start a couple of years ago. Anyone have any ideas?

Brent Bowers believe me, when I saw Okeechobee on your post I suddenly felt like I could actually contribute to the BP community in a small way. I'm relatively new to BP and I'm applying the BRRR concept here in Chobee. Hit me up if I can help in any way.

Good luck Kevin,

I work in Palm Beach Gardens and live in Okeechobee. My siblings and I are finally diving into RE as well. For now we're working single family Brrrs and eventually want to move onto multifamily buildings. I wish you the best of luck.

Thanks guys, I'm pretty stoked about our first few deals. We have 3 single family homes that we just acquired from our local courthouse auctions. They are our first Brrr projects and we are already learning big things. We're currently trying to refinance our first buy but it seems we can't do so until we've owned them for 6 months. In the mean time we're looking into something called delayed financing so we can continue our rehabs on the other 2 homes.

My siblings and I are super excited about our new endeavor we’ve decided to take on. Together we hope to reach personal financial freedom. Our strategy for now is to pick up good brrr projects from our local courthouse auctions specifically single family homes. We’ve recently acquired 3 perfectly suitable brrr properties and hope to learn as much as we can to better understand how to find good deals.
