Before settlement is complete, while the transaction is still in the titles companies possession is it there (Title Company) responsibility to disclose any Code Violations a property has (if any) before settlement? Im aware that these violations do not fall under the lien category but was curious to know if any one has ever experienced purchasing a property only to discover Code Violations after settlement.  Im sure this may differ state to state so to be more specific this is for a property in Baltimore Maryland.
