Any tips for resources to find neighborhood stats such as home sales, occupancy rates, duration home are staying on the market for? I'm trying to study a certain area to better evaluate a potential deal. Thanks guys.

Shaun,

Yes, this is a slow and pricey market, but the deals are out here. My issue is not finding a good deal, but rather the financing. I'm also researching the Hudson NY market, it's on the rise. If you know any Bershire peeps, please send then my way. I've got fam in Newton.

Any advice for literature on slower REI market?

Thanks for replying, take care

I own a duplex and I'm learning about moving forward. Just sending out the feelers to see what's happening in western mass in terms of real estate networking. I'm getting ready to search for a flip project, 3 bedroom ranch or something similar. I have 10 years building experience so I can efficiently accomplish lots of demo/carpentry/finish projects. Just have to find the right deal and the time.

Thanks

When someone identifies a house that is either foreclosed on or in threat of being foreclosed on, buys that house, then turns right around and sells the home to a flipper for a small, but quick profit, say $5000? If that makes sense to anyone, could you please point me in the direction where I can learn more about this process/business model? Thanks

Dusty Corning thanks for the ep #49 suggestion. Very helpful! ??
Wow, very helpful info! My new CPA is a real estate investor, I made sure of it. Brand new relationship is all. So LLC sounds like the right move for asset protection, but is it the best option for asset protection?
I want maximize the tax value of my properties as early as possible and am exploring how to structure my RE investing venture to do so. Thanks for the info!
I know I need to incorporate, but not sure which way makes the most sense.
I want to make taxes start working in my favor ASAP. Thanks
