I am currently looking to buy a duplex property in Kansas City, MO where I can live in one side and get good rent on the other. There is almost no inventory in the areas I desire. I want to stay inside the inner city of Kansas City, but more west towards Hospital Hill, Martini Corner, Westport and Plaza areas. I would like to stay under $175k. Is this possible? Anyone know of any other ways to look besides realtor.com, reece and nichols, KW, etc?

Thanks Phillip! I've been thinking about living/investing in the midtown area. Since I want to occupy my future multifamily property, I would like to be anywhere from downtown to 63rd, but west of Highway 71/29. I love the Hospital Hill, Squier Park, Hyde Park, Plaza and Rockhill areas.

Hello everyone! My name is Maria and I am looking to get into the REI world in my area, and hopefully expand to other areas. I am currently working full time in corporate america. I would like to get out, but that is a long way down the road. I enjoy traveling so obtaining properties in other areas is something I'm definitely interested in.
