Sabino actually has a good idea about the cattle. That you could do right away or at least soon if you have no grass. While the lease is paying the taxes you could go anyway you want from there.

I'll see what I can find out on that deer hunting info.

forgot to add...you will need a high fence for your wildlife manager to do a good job.

Dont know what the hunting group does in GA but here in Texas it is real money. If you do quail you can do dove also, guys pay almost as much and here the season is different. Turkey and quail kinda overlap in the spring here. Not sure of the seasons there.

IE, have a friend who owns 6k in south Texas and charges 15k/whitetail deer. Over 200 is 25k PER deer. but you need a year round manager to make sure you have 200+ deer. The temptation is hard to resist for some hunters. Anyway, he makes 500k - 800k year GROSS. but he also has !00k for manager, 50k for hospitality manager and about another 100k for seasonal cooks, cleaners, and groundskeepers. The good news is that deer season starts in Oct. with bow and turkey season ends in March here. The rest of the season is just groundskeepers and wildlife management (it is a year 'round job for a good one).

If you are going this way maybe I can get more info for you on the numbers.

Oh and that door (if it hasn't been cut already) will have an 1 1/4 of wood before it gets hollow. Even if you happen to hit the hollow part you can fill in with glue and wood. Its only a matter of cutting out the cardboard (thats whats inside) to make room for it. Sounds like a chore but its not that bad really.

There is a transition for tile called shcluter (sp?) you can find at any tile or flooring dealer. It is designed for tile but if it is the right thickness you could use it for Allure. There are a few different styles that should work fine for your ap.

As to the Allure coming up because of wet concrete, it may be because the slab is supposed to have a vapor barrier under it. Those older homes may or may not have it and cause water to seep up. If you haven't had a problem yet you probably wont in the future. You can do a moisture test on it if you are worried about it.

IIRC Allure is designed for moderately damp floors like basements anyway. Keep in mind, even though I have been a contractor for 30 years, flooring is not my main thing. I know some things but I am not a pro on it.

Here's an idea. Since it is at a patio doors on the exterior, why not tile it with ceramic as a mud area, then use a regular transition for that?
